ok. bout time to raise awareness and interaction, because it doesn't really matter if I update that old journal entry, so here we go.

first order of business: hisdarkmaterials will now become open source. That means that I give you the password, you can add stuff, less work for me, more interaction, and maybe this site won't die.
Anyway, you abuse your priveleges and I get angry, you know the schtick.

Next: first contest with entrants (other than me). Any fanart is valid, as long as it definitely pertains to HDM (ie no pics of dragonflies and stuff, there had damn well better be the Chevalier riding it). I'll put a tentative entries due date as October 15th (I know school starts for many of you, me included, however just please try.) Voting by Halloween. Winner shall receive a boomerang that I carved (works, I promise).

Lastly, you may notice our newest affiliate, ~james-potter. I Personally never quite got the hang of old James, seemed like a bit of a wanker, but to each his own. I still wanna be in his fan club.
